TLCO's programming consists of hot meals, produce distribution and a community garden.
We served 3,232 plates of food in 2018. Volunteers spent 1,500 hours preparing and serving food to our guests. Please join us to help serve food to our neighbors who rely on services like ours.
1st Monday at 6:00pm
3rd Saturday at 12:00pm.
Doors open 30 minutes prior to meal time.
We provided food and personal care items to 1,102 households through our food pantry in 2018.
We do accept donations of personal care items such as soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, razors, feminine care products, and deodorant.
The pantry is held on the 4th Saturday of the month, 10am-12pm.
TLCO will be hosting Mobile Pantry Produce Giveaways on the 3rd Saturday of the month from May-November. At each giveaway we distribute 8,000 pounds of produce that serves an average 200 families. This progarm is paid for and sponsored by the Greater Ceveland Food Bank.
Please bring you I.D. and bags.
First come, first served.
Rain or shine.
The first produce distribution of the season will be held on Saturday, May 19. Produce will be distributed between the hours of 10am and 12pm.
Where does the produce come from?
TLCO recieves produce through our partnership with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
46% came from regional and national produce brokers who donate or sell discounted product.
30% of the produce came through the Ohio Association of Food Banks from in-state farmes and farm businesses. The Food Bank is excited to purchase more from Ohio growers each year.
12% of the produce came from Feeding America which brokers with U.S. growers and producers. The remaining product came from other state associations (Florida, California), local donors (grocers, farms, produce terminal), and other sources.
The Peace and Plenty Garden supplies fresh produce to our community meals.
